Very light straw color. Immediately smell some dank, clean west coast hops. More of a pine and dank smell then fruit. Really light character and body as well. Super clean while representing a solid bitterness.

Bottled dated 6/30/16 poured into Aslin Teku glass.
L: Big 3F+ head, very foamy, good retention, lots of lacing and cap/ring. Beer is a pretty clear light copper.
S: Light citrus, especially orange and grapefruit and tropical, like melon, pineapple. Pit fruits as well. Very nice work with Azacca and Idaho7 hops, neither of which I have had before (I believe).
T: Citrus comes through most here, along with peach and melon, with a little pine and dankness you don't get in the nose on the finish. Light biscuit malts don't entirely balance out the IBUs, but I believe that's intended.
F: Light to medium body, medium carbonation. Good construction, OK balance. Crisp, but should be a bit easier to drink for a session IPA.
O: Another fine Ocelot IPA,

From a fresh growler, pours a clear yellow-gold with a couple fingers of bright white foam that leaves lots of lacing. There's no other way to say this, but this beer smells and tastes like weed. Just super dank. Slight lemon tartness and non-reefer grassiness as well, along with a note of candied orange peel. Pleasing bitterness in the finish. Light-ish feel but pretty full for the ABV.
I don't normally like session IPAs, but this one is killer. Tons of flavor in a crushable format. Kind of reminds me of Lawson's Super Session, but this is much better, with a much greater complexity.

Poured a cloudy yellow body with one-finger head and a citric hop aroma that is light on the malts. Easy to drink, smooth, slightly sweet body with a crisp, lemony acidic citric hoppiness and then finishes clean and crisp. A low ABV beer that is mildly hopped and easy to drink.

Poured from a growler into a pint glass. Light golden yellow. A hard pour produces somewhat of head. Not much lacing. Very pleasant smell. Although not my favorite session IPA (and far from the worst), this beer is worth buying again.

The beer has a nice looking clear, lemon yellow color. The beer has a lemon rind note in the smell and taste; both of which are very good. The beer has a smooth body with a bit more heft than expected.

Usually not a big fan of sessions. Pours a bright clear yellow with white lacy head. Nose is full of grass and pineapple. Flavor is more piney and some herbal notes with strong bitter finish.

Another very good West Coast IPA! I am very happy that Ocelot is close enough to where I live so that I can visit often. A very consistent brewery, very lucky to have this so close!
