Growler, enjoyed hours after pour:
Beer pours with a fair amount of haze, but not cloudy. The beer is almost the color of a white ale, and the head is bright white and builds to a couple fingers. Lacing is heavy, as the head does want to remain as a cap to the beer.
Nose is a little strange - and I am not getting what I expect. I get a little floral, and little spiciness, and a strange fruitiness I have trouble placing. It's almost a little tart, but that floral and spicy note get in there as well. I can imagine some strange tropical fruit - and maybe some strawberry. It's a little light and a little weird, but interesting.
Taste starts clean, with a water cracker malt opening. In quick order a lightly grassy bitterness evens out the taste. Then, for a short period of time it seems like this might be an APA. But wait... the taste is not done. I can maybe see the "weirdness" of the nose in the taste, but it is far from weird on the palate. It is quite enjoyable, and shows the tropical notes with a little hint of that coconut (or dill) I sometimes get with certain hops (including Sorachi Ace). This beer is clean, but not watery, slightly less than medium body, light carbonation. There is a little tingle on the tongue that seems to me much more from the hops than the carbonation.
I keep raising my overall rating on this. I enjoyed it quite a bit upon first sip, but by mid-glass I was really digging it. In this situation, I found this to be a wonderful beer.

Pale yellow with little head but nice lacing on the pint glass. Very tart pineapple, not a hopbomb; citrus fruit and grassy long finish dominate.
