16 oz can split with a friend, poured into a red wine glass. Pours a hazy yellow/orange color with a fluffy head. Aroma and flavor feature tropical fruit, ripe citrus, and light grassy bitterness atop a solid malt base. Mouthfeel is full, round, and not boozy. Very good overall!

Poured from a 16 oz can dated 6/03/2020 into a Willi Becher pint glass.
L - Pours a hazy lemon yellow color with a frothy white head that dissipates slowly, leaving lots of lacing.
S - Smells of tropical fruits as soon as you open the can.
T - Taste of pineapple with a nice bitterness.
F - Medium body and carbonation. Feels like sticky pineapple Joyce.
O - Outstanding IPA. The last couple of Ocelot beers that I’ve had, have been great.

On tap, pours a bright, light gold. Equal parts juicy and dank. Nice beer.

Pours golden, one thing you can give Ocelot credit for, their beers aren't ugly. Bubblegum, grapefruit. There's also a leafy bitterness presence that prevents the full accentuation of the other two characteristics which I feel are more pleasant. I liked this, but it had the potential to be better.

Canned 4/18/18 and cracked on 5/08/18, so fairly fresh, 16 oz. cab poured into a pint glass. Pours hazy golden color, very bright, translucent (but not oj-esque) haze with an inch of white head that leaves ample lacing as it falls down. I was half expecting it to look like every other IPA I’ve had as of late, more like an orange Julius than a beer, but was very pleasantly surprised to see that it looks like, well, a beer! Nose is big and fruity, tropical and citrusy. Easy and to the point, but still aromatic without being overly muddled. Taste follows suit, with big fruity and floral character, just enough malt backbone to support the large hop flavors, which are reeeaaally pushing the citrus pith and grapefruit flavors, with some powerful but not ridiculous bitterness. Feel is great too, albeit unexpected. Before seeing it in the glass, I was expecting thick milkshake-like consistency, but the body is more medium with decent carb. Overall, I’m absolutely loving this. I must admit, living a couple blocks from the Veil and just a stone’s throw from Triple Crossing, I’m a bit biased though, because I’d become quickly burned out on super haze IPA’s. This has all the things that attracted a younger me to IPAs. Citrusy, pithy bitterness, light malt backbone. Very, very good stuff not far off from Heady topper, actually. Not to mention, it’s really awesome that they list the malts, hops, and yeast used on the can, so that I should’ve known better what to expect! All in all, lovely, lovely IPA.
