On tap at Ocelot:
(Revisited a few times, and my enjoyment has caused a re-evaluation of scores, upping .25 nose and overall)
There is no mention of this involving coffee, but even more impressive if it isn't an additive.
This beer looks like TenFidy when sitting still in the glass (not as thick when moving). A dark brown head gathers at the edge of the glass, and gets tiled up easily with a swirl. More soapy once settled it is quite creamy for a short while. Tiny spots adorn the glass as I sip it down.
Coffee, rich, dark coffee. If the supporting role isn't chocolate, it's cream and sugar in the aforementioned coffee. Strong notes of these two, I have trouble finding much else, which isn't disappointing.
Taste follows the nose in a very parallel fashion. Full flavor and medium thick feel makes this a lightly creamy beer. A little roasted malt and marshmallow in the back adds a little sweetness. Light amount of heat manages through all this, but just barely.
Very enjoyable beer. Maybe a tad on the sweet side, but the flavors work with this fact to produce a post-dinner dessert accompaniment for sure. Although it stands on its own, as well, any other time.

Opaque slick black color with a texture like coffee but with more heft. Smell is fantastic with a strong bitter coffee note that resembles fudge and a moderate vanilla with roast around the edges. Taste has a stronger vanilla and fudge note with a light roasted bitterness. Feel is heavy but syrup and a slight burn. Delicious and indulgent as always.

Classic Imperial look and smell but it's a smooth overwhelming sweetness. It seems they are trying to cut the harshness by overcompensating with a sweet. A good desert beer. Would not drink more than 3oz of it.
