This brew had a strong sugary malt base, with some nice citrus hops coming through in the finish. Not as clean or crisp as their typical IPA, but still enjoyable.

From a growler, pours a pretty hazy golden orange. Huge white head leaves lots of lacing. Gorgeous-looking beer.
Smell and taste are packed with grapefruit, along with some dank, spicy, earthy herbs. Almost a grapefruit candy thing going on. Subtle orange and lemon, too.
Feel is a little thin, like many Ocelot beers, but it doesn't detract too much.
Overall, a really good beer.

Poured a yellow golden body with good head and lace sheath down the glass. The aroma is mild citric notes with hints of grapefruit sweetness. Dry, easy to drink, sharp acidic bite balances with some mild sweetness and it's an enjoyable beer.

Amarillo hopped, dry, west coast IPA. Typical Ocelot base with the welcome tropical, flowery, citrus notes. Low bitterness. Full but smooth mouth and finish.

On tap at brewery:
Pours an almost cloudy orange-yellow. Head is blindingly white against a backlight. Thick with near medium stacked bubbles, lacing is pretty heavy early.
Nose is grassy with a hint of grapefruit, to open. There's a sort of root vegetable aspect to it as well, almost leafy when combined with the grassy note. As it warms, grapefruit notes come forward, more rind than pulp. A thick cracker to biscuit malt note rises to counter.
Taste only has a light vegetal note to it, in between a solid cracker malt and a pithy grapefruit bitterness. As the beer warms, the citrus moves forward and gains a little pulp juice in the process. Bitterness reigns in back, still, pithy and fairly drying.
Medium feel is a bit more stout than many of Ocelot's beers. Not as clean an opening, a little less dry, but that's a nice change of pace without going crazy.
I liked this more as it neared cellar temps and even beyond. The citrus seemed to build the warmer it got.
