This brew was dank and tropical and delicious. I loved the blend of characteristics from the different hops. Complex and balanced. One of their best IPAs yet.

L: Poured from a growler to a pint glass. Had a pale yellow color and a hazy consistency. There was a quarter inch of foamy / rocky head that lasted an average amount of time. Excellent lacing.
S: A good aroma of hops, light citrus fruit, malt, and tropical fruit.
T: Tasted of an abundance of citrus fruit (orange, lemon), a moderate amount of hops, light malt notes (mostly in the finish), and a variety of tropical fruits (pineapple, in particular). An extremely light and flavor that's incredibly easy to drink. It doesn't quite hold up (it seems to get thin and watery after awhile), but is still tasty.
F: A good amount of carbonation with a somewhat slick finish. Light-bodied.
O: An extremely solid summer IPA (even though it's fall now). Drinkable.

Poured a cloudy yellow body with fizzy head and lace. The aroma has some spicy bitterness and a bit of pineapple and acidity in it as well. Smooth, clean body although gets sharp at times, mixes pineapple/tropical fruit sweetness with tangerine and minimal bitterness. Another easy drinking IPA with more of a fruit emphasis than hoppy bitterness from this brewery.

From a growler, pours a light gold that's hazy, nearly opaque. Big white head of foam leaves sheets of lacing.
Smell is oniony, with tropical fruits and tart citrus mixed in. Taste follows, with an emphasis on onion and a lemony tartness. Not what I would call an onion bomb, the savory aspects actually work well with the fruity notes. Drying grapefruit pith bitterness that's dialed in nicely.
Feel is a light medium, with just enough substance to give it some body. Good, fresh IPA with some interesting tweaks on the Ocelot house style. Keep 'em coming.

On tap at brewery:
A fairly classic Ocelot brew.
Pale yellow and hazy just at the edge of cloudy (not typical), the white head sustains and produces spotty lacing.
Nose has a light vegetal note bordering on onion. Grape leaves and dry wild flowers, and a little citrus rind.
Not a crisp opening, but fairly clean. There's an aspect of pithiness right there that isn't too bitter in the opening. Those grape leaves get added and the pith gains - white grapefruit and not too bitter. A little melon rind comes in as well. A lightly tickling carbonation helps things along.
A nicely overall bitter beer that never gets too raw, but has a light malt grain aspect that doesn't try to do much. Enjoyable without being too challenging to the palate.
