On tap at brewery:
Pours a slightly dirty yellow gold, very hazy. White froth with some soapy bubbles stay atop the beer and and provide some gossamer lacing.
Nose is a bit of grapefruit rind, along with some generic citrus and maybe a bit of wheat. It's not a very powerful scent.
Taste follows the nose, but is considerably more powerful. It is the Montueka, I believe that is providing an oaken aspect - or at least a reedy wood and coconut shell. I could see it as having a hint of dry grassiness.
Really enjoying this one, and finding it's likely worth my effort to grab anything these guys do with Montueka.
