L: Had this on-tap The Answer Brewpub, poured into a snifter glass. Had a dark brown almost black color and a thick, opaque consistency. There was a quarter inch of foamy, tan-colored, fairly long-lasting head. OK lacing.
S: A decent, but not spectacular, aroma of chocolate, malt, coconut, and a creamy quality.
T: Tasted of a good amount of malt (present throughout), a decent amount of coconut, some chocolate (not quite enough), and a bit of the creamy quality. Not a bad flavor, but certainly out of balance. Some of its elements seem to appear almost fleetingly. Still, it has enough solid character to make things interesting.
F: A well-carbonated beer with a mostly sharp and dry finish. Medium-bodied.
O: An uneven, but still likable beer. Worth a try.
