Pours a hazy golden. Bright white head. Some lime zest on the nose. There's a lot of great noble hop character, it's zesty, citrusy, limey, spicy. The malt definitely plays a much smaller role relative to the hops on this, but this is a nice refreshing pilsner.

Canned on 02072019. Poured into a Samuel Adams Perfect Pint glass.
Hazy straw gold with 1-finger foamy white head with decent retention and copious lacing.
Melon and berry aroma, subtle and nuanced, with cereal grain malt component. Some floral notes too.
Flavor of hops and malt seems mismatched with grainy cereal maltiness and berry and strawberry hops character with floral in the finish. Seems like it’s treading the line between German and Classic American Pilsner. Some fruitiness that is difficult to tell if is ester or hop derived.
Light body with moderate carbonation and dry finish.
Decent beer but doesn’t seem to be able to make up its mind.

On tap at Brookland Pint in D.C.
Pours a slightly unclear yellow with soft, thick head.
Smell is bready and floral, pretty clean and hoppy.
Taste is crisp and clean, with a nice maltbase grounding a pretty solid floral bitterness. Very drinkable.
Mouthfeel is medium with sparkly carbonation.
Overall, a really good American take on pilsner, i.e. it's quite hoppy and bitter.

On tap at brewery:
Fogged golden window of a body, with a tight white head. Each wave crash caused by tipping the glass leaves a sea foam lace and enough revived white bubbles to do it again.
Nose has a hint of dank hops, oddly (more noticeable with warmth). A light Pilsner cereal more than bread scent provides the background.
Flavor seems a little bland initially, but I learned fairly quickly that the coldness of the first sips were to blame. What started as almost solely a cereal malt beer started to gain some character before a quarter of the glass was gone.
That character includes a rolling carbonation, a sneaky dank bitterness and citrus and tropical fruit rind high note that adds a little to the malty ending. A bit of a rubber band aspect mixes in, though - one that seems like it may be a little spicy, but doesn’t complete the impression.
Seems like they threw some American hops more at home with IPAs into a Pilsner base. A fairly interesting mix, but not a perfect one, mainly due to that odd rubber band/spice note.
