L: Poured from a tallboy can to a pint glass. Had a pale yellow color and a super cloudy consistency. There was a half inch of foamy, fairly long-lasting head. Above average lacing.
S: A sweet and fruity aroma of citrus fruit, hops tropical fruit, and malt.
T: Tasted of a good shot of tropical fruit (pineapple, mango), a hint of malt (mostly in the finish), lots of citrus fruit (grapefruit and tangerine, in particular), a little melon, and a moderate amount of hops (not too much). A sweet and lively flavor. It's not over the top, cloyingly sweet, but it's definitely fruit-centric. Quite tasty.
F: A good amount of carbonation with a vibrant finish. Medium-bodied.
O: A light, lively, and enjoyable beer for the summer. Drinkable.

On tap at brewery:
Blocking hazy to this pale yellow, pulpy white grapefruit colored beer. The white head settles to a creamy thick cap that provides some mountain-scape lacing.
Nose is citrus and guava, orange rind, tangerine, mango skin, and a hint of fresh evergreen needles.
Taste brings the citrus up front, tangerine and grapefruit, with a little hint of indistinct tropical notes. A bite of a tingle from the carbonation breaks up the medium-bodied offering. A little bit of a burn follows - something I get in some NE IPAs, though it doesn’t have the rubber band asiento I also find sometimes. A background of very light pine, grapefruit pith, and mango round out the beer.
A bitter lean for a NE IPA is always welcome, though the fruit “juiciness” is the most prominent feature.

Big tropical nose - maybe honeydew and tangerine with a touch of pineapple. Taste follows nose - tangerine, melon and just the right bitter kick at the end. If you are a fan of juicy NE IPAs, get this one while it is fresh. Delicious.
