Sanitarium. Leave me be. Sanitarium. Just leave me alone.

It pours a pale straw golden. It's definitely hop accentuated. Dry, crisp, and spicy. The hop character doesn't really give a mouthfeel of a full bodied pilsner. I enjoyed this, but it wasn't great.

Sleep now and you will see, that dream is my reality.

On tap at Smoke & Barrel in D.C.

Pours a clear light yellow with fine, soft foam.

Smell is clean and fruity with some floral sweetness.

Taste is clean, light and bready. Mild floral bitterness and some honey on the finish. Very easy to drink.

Mouthfeel is thin to medium, well carbonated and slightly dry.

Overall, a good pilsner, maybe a bit on the light side flavorwise.

This beer came to me as a little more fruity than bread and a bit more American overall. A fairly nice beer, but missing a little more hop bitterness for my likes.

Pours a light to medium gold, with an average head. The body has the lightest haze like the remnants of the lifting of an early morning fog.

Aromas of bread and orchard fruit combine for the bridge of the nose, so to speak. A light grassy to spicy note tickles the hairs.

Flavor is similar, with a maltiness more reminiscent of American pilsners to me that also carries a light metallic note. The orchard fruit has a neutral to grassy bittering counter, but the fruit obviously comes through. A bite of carbonation seems accentuated by a bit of hops. The finale has a bitter lean compared to the opening, but is overall fairly balanced.

Not as crisp or bitter or refreshing as Sunnyside, to me. I liked it a bit better than Lamp, though.
