Taster: little apple tartness when cold; raisin, hops, little booze slips in with warmth. Decent malt profile with bitter lean, but has to warm.

A good mahogany brown color. Sweet raisin smell and toffe maltnote. Light hop note but overshadowed by the malt notes. Sweet raisins note with a moderate bitter orange hop note. Light toffee. Heavy body and a bit sticky finish after a smooth ride.

L: Had this beer on-tap at Growlers to Go - Short Pump, poured into a snifter glass. Had a dirty brown color and a thick, opaque consistency. There was a half inch of foamy, off white, somewhat long-lasting head. Good lacing.
S: A decent, but not great, aroma of malt, hops, caramel, booze, and apples.
T: Tasted of a decent bit of hops (not too much, though), light apple notes (could've used more), a good shot of malt (present throughout), a definite boozy quality, and some caramel. This is one of those flavors that's OK, but a little underwhelming; it seemed to need a boost of all its ingredients. Not bad, but not stellar.
F: A good amount of carbonation with a sharp finish. Medium-bodied.
O: This is an uneven beer, but it has some good qualities. Worth a look.

Pours an acorn brown. Not a lot on the nose. There's caramel, apple skin, and a sharp bite of rubbing alcohol on the finish. This isn't bad, but it's not great either. Needless to say, I was not a fan of this.
