On tap, gonna go with NE haze substyle here:
Cloudy orange juice with a couple splashes of water. Head could be better, but there’s some lacing from a medium collar.
Earthy tropical undertones supporting a whole citrus fruit (orange/tangerine) in the nose. Medium leaning fuller mouthfeel is a yin/yang of soft with punctuations of carbonation and slightly spicy bitterness.
Malt and moreso an oat-like taste provides the body and slightly earthy base. A bit of orange-tangerine hits early, transforming into a bitter/sweet mix of tropical notes (guava/pineapple) and citrus rind (orange then ruby grapefruit). A nutty oat-like flavor comes, thankfully contained and without its rubber band like feel.
A nice NE IPA from this brewery, one that is nearer my memories of my first go at Mi Corazón than other recent attempts.
