Pours golden with nice white head. Some light tropical sweetness but this isn't terribly aromatic. This has been my experience with mosaic and chico yeast. This is super crisp, with a touch of tropical character met with drying barky bitterness.

Tougher to rate this one. Especially to style as it smells and tastes more like a session IPA. It would obviously be way too hoppy for a Blonde Ale and too light bodied for a standard American IPA. I’m splitting the difference. Overall, it’s a very good beer.

Very light/pale yellow clear body. Definitely looks like a Blonde. Smells kind of weedy. A dank, pithy citrus and mango. Tastes the same, with some grassy flavor and grainy pilsner malts that follow. It gets more grainy and cracker like towards the end.

Very light bodied and fairly crisp.

As a “hoppy session” beer this would actually be one of the better ones. Quite enjoyable. Would be great on a hot summer day.

On tap:
A hoppy blonde that is really bordering on it crossing over to a clean IPA. The Mosaic is showcased quite well: light and refreshing with a little green dank/skunk.

Nose is slightly floral and has a crackers my malt presence. Tropical/citrus dank notes join in. Very light opening seems to get a boost from the hop notes and associated bitterness.

Flavors are similar to the nose, but the bitterness gains a grassy and piney aspect. The clean and light feel do add a small thought of water (especially given today’s IPA standards), but to me the hop boldness drives this beer in a very good direction.
