The beer pours a nice white creamy head that dissipates quickly while the beer itself is a cloudy yellow with a slight orange hue. It looks good.
The beer smell is very good with a delicious bouquet of different hop notes working well with together. The smell starts off with an aromatic pine note with orange notes and moves to a dank onion in the finish.
The taste is good. It has a good bitter hop note that has a more tolerable dankness. It starts off with good pine and grapefruit notes that add a mild dankness in the finish. There also seems to be a bit of sweetness that lingers on afterwards.
The feel is good. It has a medium body with a bit of smooth feel to it. It actually resembles orange juice a little bit. There is some tiny carbonation with a bit of acidity.
Overall, this is a glass shattering and delicious IPA worth having. It's the right amount of dankness with the right amount of fruit notes.

Ocelot Brewing Company Basement Seance is a collaboration with Dominion Beer and Wine in Falls Church, Virginia. It's a near-perfect New England IPA.
From a 16 ounce can, Basement Seance poured a cloudy yellow and left very little lace. The smell was loaded with grapefruit rind and pineapple. The flavor burst with citrus and pineapple with bitterness perfectly balancing the sweetness. It was delicious and easy drinking. The feel was substantial yet balanced.
As NEIPA's go, this one is close to spot on. Delicious and perfectly bitter.
