The beer pours a a nice and foamy brown head that takes a while to dissipate. The beer itself is a dark chocolate brown with a nice shine to it.
The smell is very good. It has a bitter cocoa note to it and followed by a bittersweet vanilla mixed with the maple syrup note. The maple syrup lead into the vanilla note.
The taste is good. It has a moderate maple syrup note that comes out front and is stronger than the other notes. The vanilla comes out a bit while the cocoa doesn't appear until the finish.
The feel has a heavy body with a syrupy texture and a slightly sticky finish. It has a soft carbonation.
Overall, a good and delicious beer.
