The pale ale alter ego on our Castle in Brooklyn IPA, Apartment in Brooklyn clocks in at an easy, breezy 5.5%. But that lower ABV doesn’t mean we’ve sacrificed any of the hoppy attributes you’ve come to expect from Castle. The neon bright tropical fruit of Azacca. Cashmere’s nuanced melon and herbaceousness. Citra, the unsung hero of the whirlpool, bringing more melon and orange citrus zest.

Just like its big brother, Apartment in Brooklyn’s high-protein, multigrain grist combines UK pale malt, white wheat, flaked barley, and malted oats. Fermented with an expressive yeast, this is a thoroughly modern take on the pale ale — and another example of why we love making them.
