The Fender Stratocaster made its commercial debut, following almost three years of development, in 1954. Our Stratocaster is a touch younger. This new pale ale arrives in the tasting room today, five weeks removed from heading into a fermenter. 5.5%. Crisp and hoppy. Whirlpooled with Mosaic Cryo. Finished with an IPA-sized dry-hop of Strata and Cashmere. Say those two varietals quickly… sorta sounds like a certain legendary guitar, doesn’t it? We don’t brew with Strata often, but we love how the Pacific Northwest varietal expresses itself in a clean West Coasty brew. It’s dank and earthy like Mosaic, but it still has that Citra treble. Meanwhile, Cashmere — a mix of melon, citrus, and herbal notes — serves as its perfect foil. With temperatures creeping into the 70s, the time for zippy crushers is nigh.
