Golden color. Small and disappearing soon white head. Grainy aroma with a hint of metal. The taste is malty sweet. Light bitterness in aftertaste and metal notes

An Euro Lager! You say when you twist the bottle open. That remarkable smell... so you prepare yourself for the worst.
But the taste gives you a twist. It is not only a lager with a very strong, sickening yeast, but its taste gets even stranger while drinking it.
I honestly love Russian beers but after two sips I had to put this down and pour it all out, so sickening it is. Sorry.

Pale yellow color, proper white head with a yellowish strain, medium level of carbonation, plenty of lace.
Smell weak, malty with a hint of candy sugar.
Start spritzy, taste malty, mouthfeel crisp and clear, more hops towards the finish. Aftertaste not great but not disappointing either.
An honest attempt to brew a standard European Pils. Not a bad one.

Well, I swigged quite a bit of cheap Russian beers during my visit there. This one tended to the good side except for an odd brief hint of ammonia I got when sniffing. But then it went away. A decent golden pilsener color with a mild head. A pretty nice malt base with a good hop balance.

I had this at a standard Moscow beer bar. It came out clear gold under a two-fingered white head with a fair amount of body and good lace. There was very little nose, unfortunately, while the mouth was the standard light and prickly. The taste opened with good crisp malt, followed by mild hoppiness. Hardly remarkable, this beer is utterly drinkable.
