Comes in a brown 33cl bottle with a white label including the name in both Russian and Greek. No other information on the bottle as to the origin of the name or why Greek. Conforms to the purity law. Best before 12/06/03, I opened mine on 8/28/03.
Poured a pretty standard clear gold under a very white head that settled quickly but lingered as film for quite a long time. Good strong malty nose. The mouth is medium-bodied, not too prickly. The taste is very malty, with a touch of sour and a hint of metal. I could detect no hops. The aftertaste is very malty. This brew is somehow different, but I can't quite put my finger on why. Different, yes, but not really exciting.
