From estucerveza. In Bavaria hefe glass. At lunch, with fried potatoes with eggs + chicken steaks. Light fresh grass notes, mostly in aroma. Little of the usual artificial notes of these beers. The 50cl didnt feel tiresome

Just bought this without realizing it was alcohol free...haha.

Not much aroma and the taste is just about detectable...kind of sweet malt with an essence of hops.

Totally ok, nothing wrong with this and quite refreshing. Though I want to get drunk...raaaaaa

Sampled back on 1/3/15. Comes in a 500ml (16.9 ounce) nice embossed green bottle with a neat pull-off ring cap for $2.99 from Hy-Vee in Council Bluffs, Iowa. Bottle chilled down to 36 degrees F in my beer cooler and poured in to a .5L handled-glass stein.

Brew pours a clear golden-yellow in color with close to a 3-finger foamy/creamy white head that stayed around for a little while before settling down to still a good 5mm or so. A decent amount of lacing was seen when sipped. Aroma is just mostly of sweet malts. Pretty much would be said for the taste with a hint of corn syrup even and finishes a little on the pale side, flavor wise. No harsh or bitter aftertaste was noted. Not a bad tasting brew but it is was it is for the style. These Russian brews are cheap (price wise) and was $2.99 as I had several of their regular brews from this brewery. Lighter-bodied with good carbonation.

If I could read Russian (or could read the fine print), I would have known this was a non-alcoholic beer. As is pours very pale golden, but with nice creamy head. Aroma is sweet and malty. Taste is faint, very faint malt and some lemons, overall it’s very watery in feel and palate.

Bottle: Poured a super pale yellow lager. Aroma is bland with light sweet notes. Taste is also dominated by light sweet notes with bland aftertaste. Might as well drink water of you are going to be drinking this.

Shared at a 10K review beer tasting; drank from a Hill Farmstead stemmed snifter.
'Thanks' to Lubiere for the bottle!

I don't even know why I bother rating these crap beers.... The wonderfull clear yellow reserved for microfiltration...the nose and taste of sweet corn syrup with no flavor depth...like having sex in a canoe....

Appearance: Clear medium golden in color with a modest, dense off-white head, which retains very well. The lacing rings the glass walls. The carbonation is profuse, with showers of very small bubbles.

Taste: Opens with caramel and cooked cereal, with a very faint hop presence. As the taste progresses, a little toasted malt appears. Finishes with a slight, lingering toasted malt and caramel flavors.

Mouth feel: Pleasant, fairly full, with a slight sting of carbonation.

Drinkability/notes: Not that bad, really, and very refreshing. If I had a choice of a soda or a Baltika 0, Baltika 0 wins hands down.

Presentation: Packaged in a custom 500 ml green glass bottle with a pry-off crown, served in a Samuel Adam Boston Lager glass.

Sourcing: Purchased at Spec's in Texas in May of 2013. The price was $1.99 plus tax for a 16.9 ounce (500 ml) bottle.

A: The beer is crystal clear light yellow in color and has a moderate amount of visible carbonation. It poured with a finger and a half high bright white head that died down, leaving a thin layer of bubbles covering the surface and some lacing down the sides of the glass.
S: Light to moderate aromas of sweet malts are present in the nose.
T: Like the smell, the taste has flavors of sweet malts along with hints of corn. No bitterness is present.
M: It feels light-bodied on the palate and has a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This beer doesn't taste that bad (especially when compared to other beers in the style), then again it doesn't taste that good.
