Colour almost black, no translucence. Light brown foam, medium high, not persistent. Fine bubbles melt to a thin circle near the glass, gently scratches on a glass.
Aroma is medium-bodied, chocolate, roasted coffee, slightly nutty with some herbal and forest notes (Douglas spruce branches) but not resinous.
Taste initially slightly sweet, a little later contrasted by a dry, roasted bitterness.
Alcohol warms the oesophagus a little. Saturation low. Medium body. Smooth texture. Aftertaste long, dry, roasted.
