Copenhagen 24/3 2019. 75 cl bottle from Meny, Southhamptonggade, Nordhavnen. Very hampagne-like bottle witha lot of metal foil, corked with a metal net keeping everything in place. Dark label with a lot of gold telling me that this is Craft Beer and using expensive words like "vinification".
Pours hazy dark brown with big off-white head. Rather bubbly. Settles as patchy layer of foam unable to cover the surface of the beer. No lacing.
Aroma is sweet, roasted and with a smoky quality. Caramel, linoleum, smoky heavy curtains. Lighter vinous sourness lurking in the background.
Light carbonation. Medium thick, oily texture.
Flavor is quite sweet followed by much lighter vinous sourness. Aftertaste is sweet with a light roast. Lingering.
Quite sweet, Champagne inspired beer. Maybe a tad too sweet for my taste buds.
