Copenhagen 26/3 2022. 75 cl chubby bottle from Meny, Borups Allé, Frb. F. Some happy mountaineers struggling up a mountainside with a very orange background on the label.
Pours unclear amber with a very big white head. Stable. Settles as 2 cm thick, frothy layer of foam obscuring the surface of the beer. Crawling up the sides of the glass. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a sweet malty odor mingling with a dry and a bit stale citric sour scent. Caramel, toffee and bread. Lemon and tart berries. Dusty.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, a bit greasy, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a fairly strong sweetness followed by a medium strong bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter with a sweet undertone. Lingers for a bit. Finish is semi-dry and bit bready.
A bit malty with stale vibe.
