Brewers' Tasting Room

 

 

This was stop #7 on a Florida vacation for my wife and me. The pub is located at the end of a strip mall along a busy commercial street. Plenty of parking is at the front of the pub. A beer garden is located just to the side of the front entrance of the pub.

This brewery celebrates the homebrewers who live in the area by having one of them brew a batch of beer on the equipment in the pub, and then that beer is put on tap for sale. There are two taps available, but typically 3-8 are home brews and the rest are beers from other craft breweries, local and national.
They also carry about 50 bottled/canned beers plus another 8-10 that are ciders, meads or perrys. I noticed that wine is available, plus bottles of mixers were noted so that maybe they offer beer cocktails.

On the evening of our visit there were only 4 home brews available, and we had stopped at other places that day and were nearly beer'd out, so we ordered a sampler flight of these 4 beers. Each was brewed very well to style and they all scored at a B or a B- grade.

The food menu is not extensive, but had a decent selection. We really enjoyed what we ordered. There are TVs all over the pub's walls, so if you want to spend an afternoon or evening watching sports and drinking good beer, this is the place.

 

Great place! Love the concept of sampling home brewers beers on premises. All 3 I tried were exceptional. 26 taps with lots of local and regional offerings as well as some great German beers. Cooler stocked with the some of the best beers available. Cool looking tropical beer garden. Very good service with extremely knowledgeable staff (Brewers). Oh and they serve food. A most stop if heading into St Pete from Tampa. Try the Bad Badger Hefe-Heizen, its world class! 4.75
