16oz draft pour into a can glass shows a dark cola brown, looking clear at the back-lit edge, with a brief head of off-white bubbles falling to the edge.
Aroma of roasty malt, coffee leaning, with hints of cocoa and the flavor my matches.
Medium feel with appropriate carbonation.
Overall a good porter.

Taster at the brewery, review form notes.
Dark brown, good clarity, thin surface layer of foam, spotty lace around the edges.
Foam forms a collar around the edges, unbroken before the first sip.
Aroma is mild, lightly roasty, nutty malt.
Taste is also fairly mild, light roast and nutty malt, very mild bitterness. Fairly light bodied, even carbonation. After the Valleadated milk stout, the lack of sweetness was pleasantly welcome, though it doesn't have a lot of distinguishing character, it has few flaws.

Black body, velvety tan head. Smells roasty, chocolatey. The palate also contains big roasty malt, chocolate, oat, a bit of stone/mineral, and smoke. Dry. Medium to full body, smooth.
Wow, where did this brewery come from? This is a solid brew, arguably the best porter I've had. Full flavored, well balanced, it has it all.

Another dark, dark porter. You can't see through it. No much head. It smells malty and chocolatey. Taste is good solid porter. Exactly what you'd expect from the smell. They didn't try to do anything fancy with it. I'll definitely be going back to have this again.
