Sampled at the brewery, quick review from notes.
Muddy reddish brown color, tan foam, sticky lace around the edges of the glass.
Aroma was lightly sweet with dried fruit yeast esters, and sticky malt.
Taste was lightly sweet with a dry clove undercurrent to offset the sticky malt sweetness.
Dried fruit, maybe a slight hint of toffee or sugar cookie.
Full bodied, rich taste with a hidden abv.
Overall it was good and well made, everything melded seamlessly in this beer.
