Pours a deep midnight hickory topped by a finger of dirty khaki foam. The nose comprises coffee, burnt pretzel, pepper flesh, cinnamon, and light molasses. The taste focuses on the coffee and a portion of the cinnamon, the peppers' bodies being converted into mild-yet-still-definitely-present heat. The body is a light medium, with a light moderate carbonation, a dry finish, and a relatively svelte feel. A solid-enough Mexican hot chocolate-style stout, though a touch tunnel-visioned and just a bit too thin for its own good.
