Pale yellow brew, topped with a nice white head with very good retention. Quite active and transparent.
Straw, hay, honey, lemon, flowers, oak, and cedar. Tart and sour.
Wonderful tart ale on the palate, with musty wild notes, oak, peach, lemon, mandarin orange, and liquor. Aged in oak puncheons, I don't know where the liquor note comes from - they're not disclosing any specific spirits, but it certainly has the taste of tequila, brandy, or orange liquor on the back end.
Very fizzy and silky on the palate. Long, slightly puckering finish.
A crazy, complex, musty brew. Really damn enjoyable.
