First rated beer of 2023
LOOK: Pours a heavily hazed dull gold with an all white head. Retention is very good and there is solid side glass lace.
AROMA: Sharp, pungent citrus hops, with a tart, with some sour dough breads.
TASTE: Nice New England IPA characteristics. Tangerine an some tropical mango.
Smooth with a nice drying finish.

16oz Draft. This is a very well crafted NE Style IPA. Nice haze, Great citrus on the nose, medium almost velvety smooth mouth feel and just the right amount of hop bitterness. I've had plenty of high 6 handle IPAs (Maine, Treehouse, Kane) and this punches right up there with the best of them at a more sessionable / food pairing alcohol level. Quite easily one of the best NE IPAs that I have had in a long time and deserving of far more reviews.

A 12 oz can with no date indication found.
Appearance. Cloudy pale golden body with a very durable white, foamy head.
This is a well crafted N E style IPA. It's moderately fruity, lightly dank and has some pine. The bitterness level seems lower than average for the style.

Come on people, rate this one -- this is an excellent hazy, with just the right alcohol contact. Very good head, and the perfect amount of fruitiness; Great mouth feel. Have had this both on tap at the brewery, and in the can while visiting Georgia to get away from the Delaware cold. Brewery is run by nice people, too!

Appearance: Pours a moderately hazy, dulled orange-golden hue with an inch of so of loose, collapsing, white foam.
Smell: Crunchy, crackling raw grain note with a minute creaminess present. Orange blossom, guava, pre-cut pineapple, stone fruit.
Taste: Creamy, coarse grain schtew, as is customary. A little bit grainy. Minimal sweetness. Lightly tropical, lightly citrusy hop blend with a relaxed bitterness. Has a sustained albeit reserved fruit juice tone through the relatively smooth finish, leaving one final dry, raw grain accent.
Mouthfeel: Medium-bodied. Medium carbonation. A bit of smoothness, viscosity from the
Overall: I found it to be decent, even likable, though I'll admit it falls shy of the upper echelon of hazy such beers.
