Very potent imperial...
Great looking beer - not your normal light extinguishing black, but more of a very dark brown, chocolaty color - very impressive even though the head is small and short lived. The smell has the cinnamon, habaneros, and vanilla that are advertised on the can, but this does not translate - one-to-one (in mathematical speak) - to the tongue. Though you do get the cinnamon and vanilla notes, added with a rich, dark roasted flavoring, the habaneros are nowhere to be found. A slight disappointment in my book. Nonetheless, even though the mouthfeel was a tad water, this made for a great experience at over 9% ABV. Go getcha some...

Look: Pours a dark coffee brown, not quite black, with a dense tan head that melts to a thin sheen floating on top. Sticky foam all over the sides of the glass that seem to hang there forever.
Smell and Taste: Notes of coffee, dates, chocolate and earthy burnt hickory (?).
Feel: Dry and seltzer like. More of a brown ale to me.
Overall: A good beer but not a great stout.
