Sometimes, on the best of days, you come across such a prolific bounty it becomes impossible to break it all down, each nugget by each single nugget. In these cases it is paramount to relax, not panic, and call in the heavy machinery. When we decided to concoct this Strata heavy double dry hopped West Coast IPA, it immediately became clear we had to rely on Fortside’s proprietary dry hopping system -THE HOPTIMIZER™*- to do the heavy lifting. Absolutely gooey with satisfying hop notes of melon, grapefruit, diesel, and mango, Hop Grinder unleashes a profundity of hop notes- all rolled up in a crisp, bright, and refreshingly clean and dry pilsner malt wrap. So as this beer finds you -on one of those best of days- drink it all in, exhale, and enjoy.

Had today as part of a flight. It seemed a little on the hazy side. It poured a washed-out gold color with a small head. Now the flavor of the beer was much better. This is a "Cold Hopped West Coast IPA", which I like this new style as it varies the taste of the hops. This beer has a lighter mouthfeel than the standard IPA because of the cold brewing. This beer is mellow and crisp and very drinkable.
