A fantastical concoction weaving a through line between things loved by kids and things adored as adults, Rice Crispies is as satisfying as it is, umm, Crispy. A bright and clean lager at heart, this beer then receives the treatment of a solid foundation of rice and a nicely tempered fermentation, adding unctuous creaminess along with absolute refreshment. Further layered with a combo of Citra and Motueka hops in the whirlpool, your pint damn near sings with glee, childlike in joy and effervescence- drifting away via a reverie of good times- past, present, and future.

This beer is pretty non-descript, not much flavor or aroma. My son said it reminded him of Budweiser, which is probably a good description. A little more hoppy than a BUD. 30 IBUs Rated 6-27-2023.
