I had this beer on-tap in a tulip at the Big Block Sammamish taproom.
Appearance: rich brown hue with a thin finger of tan foam which leaves a nice lace. I like it!
Smell: lightly malty and toasty, but could use a fair bit more volume.
Taste: nutty, malty, and toasty. I mean, it's not challenging the style, but it's a well-made and tasty brown ale. I dig it!
Mouthfeel: medium body with a good level of carbonation and a decent creaminess.
Overall: there's definitely a dearth of aroma here, but I dig the flavor and think this is a solid beer.
