bottle into glass
Quickly dissipating, medium dark tan head. Not too thick looking, during the pour. Completely opaque, extremely dark brown, without any light transmission through the glass, not even on the edges. Good level of bourbon and heavily toasted bourbon barrel, in the aroma, with a hint of very heavily roasted barley malt. An instantaneous sharp, tangy flavor, noticed first off. This lasts for awhile and pretty much buries the deep roasted barley, until the finish, where it emerges thankfully, from behind the predominant tart and nearly sour flavor profile. Just a bit of a slightly woody and dark roasted grain, at the finish line of the taste
