The Honey Ale was the 2nd of two summer seasonals. It was served in a hefe pilsner highbred. The beer is a medium copper with a skim of beige head.
It has an aroma of malts and a hint of honey. It is fresh and inviting but would like to see it punched up a bit
The taste is balanced between the sweet honey and the caramel malts. The hops add a hint of floral notes. Honey pops up again mid glass.
The mouth is decent thickness could use a bit more carbonation.
Easy drinker and it pairs well with all but the spiciest food (and Ragtime has great food!).
