I stopped by Ragtime to have a few beers before meeting folks for dinner.
I was glad to see the Mosaic Pale Ale on tap. Served in a pint glass, the beer is a chill hazed copper with a dense and sticky off-white head.
The aroma is of tangerine, a bit of papaya and bubble gum.
The mosaic hops are the thing in this beer. There are tangerine and blueberry notes, papaya emerges mid sip and this is all backed by some biscuit like malts that add a touch of sweetness.
The mouth is slick and bit a coating.
I think they pretty much nailed this one as the mosaic hops really shine.
