Cask Chocolate Stout The bartender brought this one out as a treat. Note that Cask beers are served at the music room bar, but not the main bar.
Served in an 8 oz glass at cellar temps. The beer is jet black with a thin collar of beige foam.
Nose is of milk chocolate and earthy grains. The chocolate is dominant and smells like a fresh made chocolate brownie!
The taste is like chocolate and your favorite stout. Not overpowering but prominent enough so you know what your drinking. The chocolate does not have the artificial or dry taste that you sometimes get with these beers.
The mouth is just slightly above average. This is a one-a-night beer but it is very tasty.
