We expand the umbrella of our Exclamative Sour Series with this distinctively tart fruit ale. This brew was inspired by, and the flavors chosen to accent, the unique winter climate of the desert. We used Sourvisiae yeast to produce a clean, bright, lactic acid character and balanced that by using blueberries to leave a BLAM! of residual sweetness. We followed by swirling in a BLAM! of warming vanilla, and the result is a tart but pleasantly fruited sour that explodes with flavor and pours a vivid magenta in color.

Don't tell to capitalize everything unless your name is WARHORSE! Anyhoo, had the beer about 6 months ago, just added it to the database and writing a review because I'm not a total sociopath.
Pours a blue/purple blueberry like color. Its impressive in that it usually takes a lot of blueberry to get that color. Its pretty. Very thin head on it. Not much for retention. The aroma though swings the pendulum back and it has that foot odor berryness to it. Its not disgusting, its just not where I want it to be.
Taste as much as it pains me to say, was good and fun. Its all clean stainless steel sour, no bugs, no wood, no complexity along those lines. But there does appear to be a lot of blueberry and vanilla in this beer, so they didn't cut every corner. Does well at juxtaposing blueberry tart and sourness with vanilla smoothness. In many ways, this beer seems to have hit the mark in what they were going for. I'd definitely rather have this than their ipa or lager, even though I'd almost always rather have an ipa or lager than a kettle sour normally.
Yeah I'd buy a can just because I know people who are into this.
