During WW2 the US Army produced the K-Ration, an individual daily "combat food pack" issued to mobile forces. These rations served as both a morale boost and a high calorie, caffeinated meal. Here, the morale boost for our "troops" comes in the form of this bold, roasty, Imperial Stout.

I tried a 4oz pour of this beer off the tapper at the brewery as part of a rour sample flight whilst in Vegas for my long time friend's wedding. It poured an opaque dark with no head and no lace. The scent had common imperial stout notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with semi sweet dark chocolate malt base with imperial Russian stout presence. The mouthfeel was medium in body with good carbonation. Overall it is a great beer.
