This deep and dark stout packs an incredible amount of flavor into a small glass. Aromas of Ethiopian Hambela Coffee and fair trade Congolese cocoa nibs are joined with a deep malt body and a silky, smooth chocolate finish.

Bottled October 2019; drank 12/9/19 @ the Yarchives.
Black appearance.
A violent pour yielded a huge tan head; strong, frothy lace.
Dark roast coffee bean, cream & dark chocolate flavors.
Creamy medium mouthfeel.
Cream, caramel & dark roast coffee flavors up front; mild dark chocolate notes on the finish.
Thin and pretty "fake" tasting (aka it tastes like they used syrup instead of real ingredients). Permanent pass for me moving forward.

Very nice imperial stout - perhaps should be classified as a Russian imperial stout based on its label? No date printed on bottle. Pours a thick sludgy black color, nice and opaque, nice tan head and small rings of lingering lacing. Smells glorious - fragrant rich dark roast coffee, slightly less pronounced dark chocolate, vanilla, caramel, bread and malt. A little light roasted nuts. Taste follows the nose, great coffee notes, not bitter or overly burnt or overly sweet. Nice balance and depth and complexity. Smooth, sticky, luscious mouthfeel, good amount of carbonation. An excellent imperial stout!

This pours alost black with a 1 finger tan head. Nose of extreme dark chocolate and coffee. Not as sweet as the nose implies, but flavor is right on. Medium carbonation could stand to flatten out a bit. If you like dark chocolate and fresh ground coffee you will be pleased. $12 a bomber from the brewey.

This has a really distinct taste to it. Coffee, toffee, chocolate, malts, and some hops. It's really well done, I'd like to see this barrel aged.
