Pours a nearly clear golden straw color straw color with a soapy white head that leaves a surprising amount of lacing and a cap on the body of beer that never relinquishes that hold. Gorgeous Maibock.
The nose features noble hop aromas that are spicy and grassy , a bit of floral hops, and a pronounced honey wheat bread note courtesy of the malt.
The taste is led by the floral hops, with the honey wheat bread flavor following, before the spicy, grassy flavor sits at the back of the palate, coasting into the medium mouthfeel that is very crisp.
This is an outstanding Maibock, one worthy of seeking and keeping in your beer fridge, IMHO.

2017 release.
Poured from 22oz into tulip.
Golden, brite, dense layer of foam.
malty and sweet aroma, slight floral hoppiness.
Toasty, malt, dry, a bit of noble hop character. Balanced and very drinkable. Excellent lacing.

Draft: Poured a deep honey color bock with a medium size foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of cereal with residual sugar notes is OK. Taste is a mix of cereal notes with lightly off-flavors ester and a bit more residual sugar notes then I was expecting. Body is about average for style with oily texture and good carbonation. Sweeter then I was expecting.
