A double IPA's worth of hops in a brilliant, pale, bitter American IPA. Brewed in the classic West Coast IPA tradition with new-age aroma hops and malt from the United Kingdom. Constantly in production, out of stock for sale most days.

This pours a warming tan with an upfront burst of hops and a refreshing bitter finish. I found this one approachable and enjoyable. Enjoyed at the brewpub on a warm summer evening.

I’m not a huge fan of IPA’s, but this American Pale Ale is Phenomenal. The Citra dry-hopping is great, pours slightly hazy, but a very clean tasting beer.

Bottled 1/16/18; drank 2/28/18 @ the Yarchives.
Cloudy yellow/orange appearance.
A rough pour yielded a nice bright white head; frothy, tree-rung lace.
Sugar, mild lemon & faint corn notes in the nose.
Medium mouthfeel. Mild lemon & dry wheat flavors up front; mild corn syrup notes on the finish.
Permanent pass.

Slightly hazy golden straw color under a tightly woven white head, this beer is the picture I have in my mind of what an IPA should look like. Gorgeous beer, IMHO.
Aromas are slightly dank citrusy hops, with a subtle sweet that reminds me of fresh blueberries. The taste is moderately bitter, with the dank citrus notes up front, but the sweetness is still present, and welcome, because it precludes this from falling into “bitter bomb” territory.
The finish is dry and clean, as I expected from the taste. An excellent representation of the style, IMHO.

Poured clear and golden into an IPA Glass. 2 fingers of dense head.
Smells of Pineapple, lemon, and orange.
Bright hoppy flavor, subdues malt, but good mouthfeel.
Dry finish, with a piney lingering hop aroma.
