Appearance - The beer was a tich black color with dark mocha bubbles.
Smell - Toasted malts and booze radiated from the glass.
Taste - My first impression was chocolate cookies and booze. As the beer warms, coconut and cherry become more evident.
Mouthfeel - The bourbon adds some stickiness to the base beer. The viscosity is noted.
Overall - This was a great first attempt at a barrel aged beer, even with coconut, cherry, and cocoa nibs.
