Appearance - The stout poured a black color with a tint that seemed red from the cherries.

Smell - The nose was more cinnamon forward, but had hind of cherry. It would not seem to work, but it did.

Taste - The taste was very cinnamon forward with just enough cinnamon for a slight cinnamon burn. There was only a slight cherry presence which brought to mind cherry cola. So in the big picture, it was a cinnamon stout with cherry cola. I did not detect the promise cocoa. The cinnamon lingered in the aftertaste.

Mouthfeel - The feel was smooth with low carbonation and cinnamon burn.

Overall - This is truly a beer with too much going on.
