A muddy tan body rests beneath a short lid of cream colored foam that drops shortly (dirty glass?). It holds a thin surface covering, however, and leaves some minor lacing throughout the glass. The aroma is lightly fruity (plum, banana) and sweetish with a caramel / light toffee maltiness, some limited yeasty bubblegum, and a touch of spice. The body is light/medium with a very fine and lightly effervescent carbonation that leaves it gently zesty in the mouth. The flavor delivers a mild tangy note of fruitiness before its caramelish malt sets in. Its bitterness is low-key and never makes itself known. It displays some soft bubblegum and caramel in the finish along with some drying bitterness, and a touch of gentle clove.

Served on tap at RFD's. This beer is not listed on Fordham's website, so I'm unable to verify availability and ABV (I'm guessing in the neighborhood of 5% for ABV). Tap handle features a Gandalf-esque character, completely with long white beard and conical hat.
Appearance: Cloudy brown liquid with very little head, mostly a ring of bubbles around the side of the glass. No lacing.
Smell: Banana and clove smells are a wee bit faint. Quite yeasty, decent caramel malt aromas.
Taste: Sweet caramel malt flavors with banana and clove notes. A wee bit peppery at times.
Mouthfeel: Seems a bit flat. Quite light bodied.
Drinkabilityy: Not bad, a hearty weisse that did not offend. I won't be hunting it down anytime soon, however. Especially given the other options on tap at RFD.
