12oz brown bottle, sample from the brewery.
Was hoping for a bit more froth, deep golden color. Faint clove and a hint of banana bread in the nose with bread wheat and nutty yeast. Crisp fluffy body, yeast is more forward than other flavors though the wheat drops a pretty deep bready maltiness. Light on the clove and banana ... more of a ripe fruit flavor. Noticeable esters, pretty drinkable in the drying finish.

Tastes like a Saison and American Pale wheat had a beer love child. Seriously. This is an odd take on either style, no matter which way you go. I know it is labeled as an American Pale Wheat, but they seem to be trying to go for both styles and it does not work well. Not horrible, but nothing to revisit.
