Served on cask conditioned system using the ol' fashion hand pump at the brewery.
Appearance: Very cloudy lemon yellow with a smallish head of white foam. Nice lacing left on the glass as this was consumed.
Smell: Yeasty and bready with a nice solid presence of East Kent Golding hops (per the brewer).
Taste: Aaaah.. greatness. A mild taste of bittering hops with a good solid pale malt backing.
Mouthfeel: Goes down quite smooth, on the lighter side of medium bodied.
Drinkability: Goddamn is this a fine session beer. Great with food, too. I had mine with fish and chips.
Other: One of the hits at the Lupulin Slam for me. Hoppy in a different way, and boy did this taste like heaven after 3 high octane IIPA's!

A solid English bitter on cask at the brewpub. This was made like Anchor's Small Beer (with the second runnings after they made their Millenium Ale; a Barleywine). Solid light gold color. Perfect session brew !! A balanced light malt brew with perfect light hop bitterness. I'm sure this one was pretty low in the ABV department.
Would have again without hesitation.
