Draft pint at the brewery; pretty deep golden orange with an "American beer" head. This has a bit of cream-of-wheatiness with a bit of a citric twist like someone dropped an orange peel in the glass. Very even tempered but nothing grand. Good. (#2709, 2/16/2007)

Pours a hazy brilliant gold colour with a little cap of white at the top. Im not sure if it once had a head, or if the head vanished by the time it made it to the table. Upon first wiff one could tell there was gonna be some sweetness. A kinda sweet sugary melon peach bubblegum smell. The taste was somewhat sweet but cloying. It was just sort of there. Nothing to offend, but just kind of there. I think the sweetness might have bothered me more if I had not just finished off several Hop bombs before that. It was kind of refreshing after the dryer beers. Well carbonated and refreshing in mouthfeel. Drinkability, well I had a couple over the course of the evening, but that was mainly as a palate cleanser. If someone doesnt like hops and prefers beers with a touch sweetness this might be for you. Like I said before Belgian style ales seem to be done best by those that specialize in them. Dominion doesnt, so it kinda shows.

On tap 03/18/05 at the OD Brewpub.
A bit hazy yellow-ish gold with a low wispy white head, decent carbonation, and almost no head. Tart yeasty Belgian aroma; light horseyness. Tastes much like it smells with a light sourness (?) and a grainy malt profile. Light bodied and refreshing.
Similar to some of the other beers categorized as Saisons (Flying Fish Farmhouse Ale, etc...).
