German-style refillable growler filled at the brewpub.
First pint glass pours with a frothy off-white head, which hung around and laced well. Caramel hued brew, with a clovey banana nose, as expected for the style. Taste is sweet wheat, with the cloves coming in for a spicy close. Mouthfeel is superb, soft bubbles over the tongue, and drinkability is good as well.

Bright clear golden color with a decent white head and decent carbonation. Subdued banana-clove aroma and flavor when compared from memory to the draft I had at the brewpub. Light bodied and refreshing. Went down easy Fourth of July weekend while out in the heat.
As expected, very similar characteristics to their 2003 Summer Wheat (Hefeweizen) sans yeast...
Note: This review was based on a growler from the OD Brewpub.

Seems this summer Dominion will have a few wheat beers. Clear gold in color with a tall fluffy white head of foam. Moderate lacing. Light banana scents over a yeasty aroma similar to Dominions Summer Wheat. A good amount of malty sweetness is also apparent. Flavor is similar with banana and other light fruit notes over a sweet malt backbone. Some yeast notes as well and finishes with a light banana flavor. Good mouthfeel with a nice clean crispness to it. Pretty good drinkability as well. From my experience this seems a good example of the style that is refreshing and enjoyable.
